The problem I have with Chartered Practitioner is that it reminds me of academia.
Nothing wrong with that, of course, it’s just that that how I’ve approached it; as a serious, academic-ish study into how the Chartered Institute ‘does’ region groups (sector groups aren’t my forte).
Not only was that too ‘now’ to be reflective of my experiences as a senior practitioner (not that I am a senior practitioner (not *that* senior)) it was entirely the wrong approach so I’ve failed Stage 2. Again! I kept the first one quiet, it’s not really something to boast about.
I’m told that it isn’t really failing as I can resubmit again but I’m really going to have to think about it. Is it what I want to do? And will Groups ever be ‘done’ properly?
